How do I create a message with my Circle of Support?

Creating a group chat with your circle of support can be a great way to easily communicate and send photos, videos, and audio.

Create a chat and send a message

1. Tap on the Message icon bubble on the top of the screen
2. Tap on the new message icon with a plus sign on the bottom of the screen
3. Select the individuals in your circle of support that you would like to add 
4. Tap on Save
5. Upload a picture for your chat if desired. Otherwise tap on Skip
6. Create a title for the group chat and tap on Create Chat
7. Tap on the box on the bottom of the screen that says Type your message...
8. Type your message and tap on

Send a photo, video, or audio within a message

In messages, do the following while writing a message

1. Tap on the paperclip
   • Take a photo within messages: Tap on Add Photo > Take Photo > Upload Photo > Choose
   • Take a video within messages: Tap on Add Video > Take Video > Use Video 
   • Record audio within message: Tap on Add Audio > Record Audio > Start Recording > Stop Recording > Create
2. Enter an optional message and tap Send 

Send a photo, video, or audio from your device gallery 

1. Tap on the paperclip
   • Uploading a photo: Tap on Add Photo > Upload Photo > Select a photo > Choose
   • Uploading a video: Tap on Add Video > Upload Video > Select a video
   • Uploading an audio: Tap on Add Audio > Upload Audio > Select an audio
2. Enter an optional message and tap Send 

Add someone to an existing chat

If you have created a chat, you can add multiple people to an existing chat.

1. Tap on the Message icon bubble on the top of the screen
2. Tap on the chat you want to add someone to
3. Tap on the Add User icon on the top right of the screen
4. Select the people in the circle of support you would like to add

Tip: To remove someone from a chat, you can unselect them in the same menu when you add people to the chat

Change the name and image of a chat 

If you created a chat, you can easily change the name of the chat

1. Tap on the Message icon bubble on the top of the screen
2. On the chat that you created, tap on the 3-dot icon on the right
3. Tap on Edit Group Name
4. Change group name and tap Update

You can also change the photo of the chat

1. Tap on the Message icon bubble on the top of the screen
2. On the chat that you created, tap on the photo icon of the chat
3. Tap on Upload Image 
4. Select from  Take Photo, Choose from Album, or Upload from Gallery
5. Upload photo and tap on Save
