The timer feature allows you to set a certain amount of time for a map step. When the time is up, it will automatically advance to the next step. The timer can be used to assist you in completing a step in a specific amount of time. For example, washing your hands for 20 seconds.
Adding a timer to all map steps
- On the map you wish to add a timer, go to the cover page
- Under Map AutoPlay Settings, tap on Add Timer
- Tap on the toggle button next to "Add Timer to Step"
- Set your timer time.
- If you would like, you can also delay the start of the timer by tapping on the toggle next to "Delay Start of Timer"
- Tap on the drop-down arrow
- Select a time for delay
- Tap on Save
- If you would like to hide the visual map timer that will appear on all the steps, tap on the toggle called Hide Visual Timer
Remember by turning on these settings on the cover step, they will be applied to all steps in a map.
Adding a timer to a specific map step
If you would like to add a timer to a specific map step, we must first make sure that the timer feature is turned off on the cover page
- On the map you wish to add a timer, go to the cover page
- Under Map AutoPlay Settings, make sure the "Add Timer" icon is grayed out and not green
- Go to the map step you wish to add a timer
- Under Step Settings, tap on Add Timer
- Tap on the toggle button next to "Add Timer to Step"
- Set your timer time.
- If you would like, you can also delay the start of the timer by tapping on the toggle next to "Delay Start of Timer"
- Tap on the drop-down arrow
- Select a time for delay
- Tap on Save
