What are private maps and how do I create one?

MapHabit allows you to create a private map for you and any members of your circle of support. Let's review how to edit these privacy settings when creating a new map:

1. Tap on the Maps tab at the bottom of the screen
2. Tap on the plus icon
3. Add your cover image, title, and category. 
4. Select or unselect the individuals you would like to have access to this map
5. Once you are done, you can start creating your map and tap on Save and Close to save all changes

You can always go back and edit who is allowed to have access to the map.

1. Tap on the Maps tab at the bottom of the screen
2. Tap on Edit Map on the map you would like to update the privacy settings
3. Select or unselect the individuals you would like to have access to this map
4. Once you are done, tap on Save

Note: If you create the map originally on your account as the support, you will have to transfer the map to the individual and then edit the privacy settings in the User View. Please refer to the following steps:

1. In your support view, tap on the three-dot icon on the map you wish to transfer
2. Select the individual you support
3. Tap on Transfer Map
4. Tap on the drop-down arrow on the top right of the screen
5. Tap on the individual you support
6. Tap on Maps at the bottom of the screen
7. Tap on Edit Map on the map you wish to update the privacy settings
8. Select or unselect the individuals you would like to have access to this map
9. Once you are done, tap on Save
