Create a Map

1. Tap on the Maps tab at the bottom of the screen
2. Tap on the + button
3. Tap on Create New Map
4. Add a cover image, title, and category
5. Tap on Add Step and create the first step
6. Tap Save and Close to save changes

Adding a Photo to Map Steps

You can upload media directly from your device's camera or your device's device gallery

Adding a photo/video using the device camera

1. On the desired map step, tap + Image or Video 
2. Tap Image
3. Select Camera
4. Capture photo. Tap on Use Photo 
5. Tap on the yellow checkmark to confirm the upload

Adding a photo using your device gallery 

1. On the desired map step, tap + Image or Video
2. Select Image 
3. Select Device Gallery
4. Select a photo to upload
5. Tap on the yellow checkmark to confirm the upload

Adding a Video to Map Steps

1. On the map step, tap on + Image or Video
2. Tap on Video
3. Tap on Camera
4. Capture video and tap on Use Video
5. Tap on the yellow checkmark to confirm the upload

Adding a video using your device gallery

1. On the map step, tap + Image or Video
2. Tap on Video
3. Tap on Device Gallery
4. Select the video you wish to upload
5. Tap on the yellow checkmark to confirm the upload

Adding Audio to Map Steps

You can add audio to your map steps for extra personalization and assistance

Recording Audio

1. Tap on the Record Audio under Step Settings
2. Tap on the purple circle icon to start recording 
3. Tap on the purple square icon to stop recording
4. Tap on Create. Audio will populate on the bottom of the map step screen

Uploading Audio from your device files

1. Tap on Upload Audio
2. Select from the MapHabit Album or Device Gallery
3. Select the desired audio file and the audio will populate on the map step

Adding Text to Map Steps

1. Tap on Step Title to open up the keyboard and give the step a title. 
2. Tap on Step Description to open up the keyboard and give the step a description.
3. Repeat these instructions for further steps if text is needed.

Saving Your Map

Once you have finished completing your map, ensure that you properly save your map. Tap on Save and Close on the top right of the screen. Your map will then populate in the Map section and will have a banner titled New Map.

Congrats! You have successfully created your first map!
